Join this half day tour of a local woodlot and learn to identify both the hardwood and softwood trees of Grey Bruce. Led by forester and woodworker Joe Watson, participants will learn about the processing of wood from the very beginning - from selecting the trees to wood ready for woodworking or woodturning.
This is a half day field trip. Participants will meet at Intersections at 9 am and we will car pool to the woodlot. After the tour, we will return to Intersections around 12:30 pm.
